From leader to coach.

Over 25 years ago, I started out in advertising. Whilst working at Leo Burnett, I was first introduced to coaching. It helped me build the confidence to set up an independent business unit within the agency.

And then from Leo Burnett via Sky TV to the £15bn global video retailer QVC where I led the global brand experience, established the UK marketing department and was a member of the UK senior leadership team responsible for creating an incredibly profitable retail platform.

Again, I was gifted a coach and subsequently developed my own coaching approach to leadership.

Been there.

Throughout my career, I have experienced: working in male-dominated environments; operating in a global matrix; demanding clients; alpha women vs. the sisterhood; major restructuring; the tension between long and short-term thinking; running successful teams; building departments from scratch; inheriting departments; being a working mum and many other realities of working and leading within a demanding business.

Now I help other leaders figure out how they want to do it best.

Trained here.

A graduate of the Meyler Campbell Business Coach Programme means I have been trained in coaching by an A-list faculty of psychologists and coaches on a programme that is accredited by the European Coaching & Mentoring Council and the Association for Coaching. I am a Master Practitioner of NLP through Judith Lowe at PPD Learning (a phenomenal coach) and have a Generative Practitioner certification through IAGC or more importantly Robert Dilts and Dr. Stephen Gilligan; leading developers in NLP and psychotherapy. I also hold MBTI Step II certification and am a member of the Association of Coaching.

I believe in continual professional development and take on-going professional supervision.

What my clients say …

“Sue has proven to be insightful, supportive and genuinely interested in my professional development. She has helped me devise a clear roadmap to achieve my ambitions and provided practical advice when negotiating offers. Sue is an absolute delight and I highly recommend her to anyone looking for career advice or mentorship.”

— Andi Davids, Global Strategy Director, Jones Knowles Ritchie.

“Sue’s coaching has enabled me to develop significant insights into my own qualities, confidence and leadership potential. She was highly personable and demonstrated an impressive range of relevant skills: professionalism, empathy, insight and a genuine interest in my development … I have valued this experience far beyond a more predictable single day or one week development course. Overall the experience has been engaging and stimulating due in large part to Sue’s skills as an executive coach.”
